This free introduction to the Alexander Technique will take you through six steps to better posture. Posture affects your wellbeing. It alters your mood and the way your body functions. You will receive six short video lessons, one per day. You can watch the videos as many times as you like.

Day 1 - Stopping, Thinking, Lying Down.

Welcome to day one of your journey to better posture! Today we'll explore the most powerful thing you can do, which will help clear the way for the work that follows.

Day 2 - Head, Neck, Back

Welcome to day two of your posture journey. In today's lesson you'll discover more about how your body fits together, and how it can start to become more efficient.

Welcome to day three of your journey! Today you're going to add to what you learned on days one and two, and start to move.

Day 4 - Turning

You've made it to day four! How's it going for you? Today we're going to add a new move to our repertoire. These are not exercises as such, but different ways of exploring movement and directing our awareness.

Day 5 - Walking

Here we are on day five of your journey to better posture. At this point I could say that posture is not what it's actually about. You might have noticed that it's more than posture. It's the way you think, move and feel. It's about discovering new ways to do things.

In today's lesson we'll look at how to move the legs, and of course moving the legs is a big part of walking!
